Club Information
We plan to meet at least twice a month or every two weeks. In case we have complications with schedules and distance learning, we will at least have it once a month.
The TEDEd Club is a program that focuses on encouraging and teaching the students about the power of one’s voice and especially on important matters. It enhances their ability of public speaking as well as their critical thinking.
We can work closely together with the student body by offering programs and MDTV segments for more to see about important matters and current events and the ways we can use our voice to help spread awareness.
We want to get guest speakers and even contact past TED speakers to give a conference and not only spread awareness but empower and encourage students to use their voice and speak out for what matters.
Since TEDEd can work with or without distance learning, these potential events remain the same.
“We want to get guest speakers and even contact past TED speakers to give a conference and not only spread awareness but empower and encourage students to use their voice and speak out for what matters. ”
At the end of the year, students have the opportunity to give a speech on an important issue or an issue that is of importance to them. Through the preparation and meetings, we can ask the organization to grant service hours for those who choose to give a speech.
